Jennifer Hamey
President
Jennifer moved to Florida from Ohio in 2016 and started her law firm serving Manatee, Hillsborough and Sarasota Counties. Jennifer has served on many boards in Ohio and has brought that experience to the PCA, serving as Treasurer, Event Coordinator and lead volunteer. She also volunteers for the Parrish United Methodist Food Bank, Kim’s Krew and several other charities. At Christmas, Jennifer hosted Elves for Elders, gathering gifts for our local nursing home residents.

Norma Kennedy
Vice-President
A Manatee County Native, Lifelong resident of Manatee County.
Retired from Verizon.
Norma worked as a Customer Service Representative in the Business office. and phone mart. During her career, she also was in Management as a Supervisor and Service Representative Training instructor. I have been a member of the Parrish Civic Association in 2012, as a board member, Vice President, and Membership Chair. and Vice President /Membership Chairman. I am also serving on the Rural Development Committee in guiding the growth of our village. I also serve on the Manatee Historical Board and
Parrish Arts Council. I enjoy working in the community striving to promote and saving our rich history.

Cindy Chin
Secretary
Cindy is a native of Manatee County and lifelong resident of Parrish. She recently retired from State of Florida, 12th Judicial Circuit. Cindy has been a member of the Parrish Civic Association for the last 35 years. During that time, she has served on numerous committees, was the membership chairman for a term, and has been the Parrish Heritage Day Parade chairperson since 1985. She has been the Secretary for the past year. She enjoys being involved and hopes to continue serving the community

Danny Brown
Treasurer
Danny Brown was born in Armory, MS to a family of share croppers. He attended High School at Lamar County High School in Alabama and after graduation enlisted in the United States Navy, reaching the rank level of Senior Chief Petty. Danny first made his way to Florida when he was accepted into Aviation Officers School located in Pensacola Florida. Danny completed 22 years of service with the Navy and retired in 1997. After completing his Naval career, Danny started KESS Environmental Services which specialized in sewer infrastructure. Danny has served as Vice President, as well as other various positions, of the Alabama Onsite Waster Water Board. He has been a Parrish resident for five years and looks forwarded to bringing his background experience to the Parrish Civic Association Board. Danny will be serving as our new treasurer for the PCA!
